Stop Smoking Services

If you are a smoker we can support you in your goal to stop smoking by encouraging you to contact the South Edinburgh Local Support Group.

This is a completely free service with a range of services including day and evening support sessions, individual appointments, and telephone/text/email support. This service provides support tailored to your individual need which includes medication e.g. Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT), varenicline (Champix) and bupropion (Zyban). You are FOUR TIMES MORE LIKELY TO QUIT if you get support from this service and use a medication to help you stop.

Contact South Edinburgh Local Support Programme by phone at their Sighthill Branch on 0131 537 7154 or their Gracemount Branch on 0131 672 9532. Alternatively email them on smokefreesouthedin@nhslothian.scot.nhs.uk
